Harper Highlights- 4 months

*Sorry for the totally random Hispanic family slideshow that was temporarily featured on our blog! The code was messed up, but seems to have FINALLY been corrected. :)*

This has been such a fun month with our happy girl. She smiles so much that our hearts are just going to burst!



Here is what Harper has been up to lately:

• Harper sleeps around 10 hours a night, sometimes longer. Absolutely heavenly! :)


• She still takes a pacifier (pacie) although apparently doesn't need it to sleep. It seems to be more of a soothing technique and usually falls out after about 15 minutes.


• Harper loves to "stand" in your lap. She's very proud of herself for doing this and gets a big smile and sticks her arms straight out.


• She's rolled over once or twice, but doesn't seem interested in doing it anymore. Maybe just an accident the first few times?


• She's still a big drooler! :)


• Harper is now into her Exersaucer. She's not quite tall enough for it, so we have to put a phone book at the bottom for her to stand on.


• She is really getting her morning nap down. She typically goes down 2 hours after she wakes up and will sleep anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. Progress! Now on to the afternoon sleeping...


• Harper is wearing size 1-2 diapers (and yes, they are VERY hard to find-- we order them online).


• At her 4-month checkup, Harper weighed 13 lbs. (50th percentile) and was 24 3/4 inches long (75th percentile).


• She HATED her 4-month shots and screamed like we've never heard her before. It was awful.:(
