We were so glad to be in Missouri for the 4th with all of my family. My sister's neighborhood has a darling little 4th of July parade in the morning, and we spent the afternoon and evening at the club swimming, playing and watching fireworks. The highlight of the day was getting all 4 kids dressed in their matching 4th of July outfits!
Harper and Smith shared the double jogger for the parade. Could anything be more precious than these two baby buddies?
Sadly, this will probably be the only time that Al and I have babies together. Unless I can convince her to go for #4 when we have a second child.... :)
Harper crashed at the end of the parade and was ready to get back in Baby Smith's comfy crib.
A baby swap!
All members of the extended Glass family together in one place= miracle.
My awesome Godparents Cathy and Preston drove over from Kansas City to be with our crazy family for the 4th. It was so fun!
There was all sorts of fun activities at the club that afternoon like bouncy houses, face painting, and sno-cones.
All the fun and festivities that afternoon wore the babies out.
Harper is already bossing Smith around.
She was content as can be to just sit and observe all the action.
Another miracle... a decent family photo (sans Norman, of course).
Ready for the fireworks show. Harper loved the bright lights and didn't seem scared at all by the loud noises. Our brave little girl!
....
It was an awesome day. My sister has some great pictures as well on her blog: http://brawners.blogspot.com/
